Description The BSS AR-133 Active DI Box features two parallel ¼” jack inputs (tip hot sleeve ground) plus a parallel unbalanced XLR input. Output is via a transformer-balanced XLR, with a ground-lift switch to eliminate hum. It supports switchable attenuation pads at 0 dB, –20 dB, and –40 dB, making it suitable for instrument, line, or amplifier-level signals. Its frequency response is 30 Hz to 20 kHz (±1 dB), with distortion under 0.005% at 1 kHz. Powered by phantom (20 to 48 V) or a 9 V PP3 battery, it draws < 7.5 mA on phantom and < 2 mA on battery. The housing includes rubber side-cheeks and an arch design letting cable runs go underneath, keeping stage layouts neat.
